A special flight departing from the Plan de l'Aiguille to let you discover the north face of the Aiguilles de Chamonix. You will have the chance to get close to the Bossons Glacier, which will reveal itself from its most stunning viewpoint

How does it work?
We’ll meet at the bottom of Aiguille du Midi lift station. From there, we’ll take the cable car that will take us up to the intermediate station at Plan de l'Aiguille.
Once we get off the cable car, we have about a 5-minute walk to reach the official paragliding take-off area. This spot offers a stunning view of the Bossons Glacier and the Chamonix Valley!
Your instructor will equip you and prepare the paraglider before we proceed with the take-off. To lift off, we’ll need your help – a short running will be necessary.
Now we’re in the air! Depending on your preferences, we’ll adapt the flight to ensure you have the best possible experience, and if you’re observant enough, we might even spot ibex, chamois, vultures, etc.
We’ll also have the opportunity to get close to the Bossons Glacier – a special moment that would be impossible on foot.
When it’s time to land, nothing could be simpler. Based on the air conditions, we’ll adjust the landing technique, and we’ll ask for your help one last time to ensure a smooth return to the ground.
Allow approximately 1 hour and half in total for this activity.

Plan de l'Aiguille is a site in the heart of the Mont-Blanc massif. You’ll truly feel immersed in this grand environment, with the towering granit walls above you and the breathtaking view over the Chamonix Valley, making the experience unique.
This flight is ideal for the XXL option in the afternoon, thanks to its northwest orientation.
The opening periods for the Plan de l'Aiguille take-off are:
- Winter / Spring: December 21st to June 31st
- Autumn: September 1st to November 2nd
Outside of these periods, we recommend booking a flight from the Planpraz site.

If you want to stay in the air longer to fully enjoy the flight and explore through thermal lift, this flight is for you! On good summer days, we may even fly over the Aiguilles Rouges and the high-altitude lakes!

This option allows you to keep a memory of your flight and take home all the images your instructor captures during the flight with their GoPro. Smile, you’re on camera!
The "Adrenaline" and "Photos & Videos" options can be selected during the booking process or directly with your instructor before take-off (if booked on-site, payment is only accepted in cash).
